There are 2 major upstream "products" in agarwood agripreneurship. 1) Seeds/seedlings. We plant them, we get trees but we won't be (instant) millionaires but only tree owners. 2) Resin inducers. We stress our trees with them, we get resin and oil, by-products and downstreams products. Still, we won't be millionaires but budding gaharu agripreneurs. With these two upstreams, WE DON'T get guarantees of a successful gaharu business unless: 1) we select our business model and develop our OWN client base by MARKETING, either individually or collectively as a group. This is the essence of every gaharu business. We have to tap this collosal market potential by ourselves and never (ever) depend on others to enrich us through lop-sided JVs or buy-back promises. 2) we plan our work based on these and work our plan to suit OUR business...
